Russia has captured a second village in Ukraine’s Donetsk region within 24 hours, advancing toward Kurakhove. The Russian Defence Ministry confirmed the capture of Voznesenka, bringing Russian forces closer to Kurakhove. Russian troops now control territory surrounding the town, and flood fears arise after attacks on a nearby dam. Despite this, Ukraine claims full control over Kupiansk and repelled Russian advances.
