Thamba Tharmalingam Appointed CEO of MapsPeople A/S on 8 July 2025
MapsPeople A/S has appointed Thamba Tharmalingam as Chief Executive Officer replacing Morten Brøgger and transitioning from his role as Chair. Brahm Klar, Managing Partner at Round13 Capital and Board member, becomes Chair. These appointments mark a new phase as MapsPeople scales globally. Fueled by advances in AI, autonomous navigation, and location intelligence, the company is redefining how people and assets move through buildings, campuses, hospitals, airports and transit hubs.
Thamba Tharmalingam is a seasoned technology executive with global experience across SaaS, telco, semiconductor, and video gaming. He has led companies through growth, turnarounds, IPO, and M&A across North America, Europe, and Asia. He joined the MapsPeople Board in May 2025 as CEO of Apex Group Technologies and Operating Partner at Round13 Capital and now steps into the CEO role.

Brahm Klar is Managing Partner at Round13 Capital, where he leads investment strategy and supports portfolio growth. With experience in venture capital, private equity, and investment banking, he has been active in emerging technologies and brings expertise in M&A and long-term value creation.

The Board thanks outgoing CEO Morten Brøgger for his leadership over the past 2.5 years and role in strengthening the organization. Morten Brøgger will assist in the transition of his duties to Thamba Tharmalingam over the coming weeks. We wish him continued success.
As announced in company announcement no. 14-2025, the last trading day of MapsPeople A/S’ shares on Nasdaq First North Growth Market is expected to be on 25 August 2025.
