Mhatre, who led from the front in England, was the standout performer in the two-match Youth Test series, finishing as the top run-scorer across both teams. He amassed 340 runs in just four innings, including two centuries and a fifty. Under his leadership, India drew the Test series 0-0 and edged the ODI leg 3-2.One of the biggest talking points remains the inclusion of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who took the Youth ODI series by storm in England. The 14-year-old piled up 355 runs, including the fastest century in Youth ODI history, drawing comparisons with some of the game’s youngest stars.Mhatre will be supported by vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra, another consistent contributor on the England tour.
