IDF Battalion Commander ‘Hit’; Israeli Army Admits Casualties

Hamas’ Al Qassam Brigades continue to launch fierce attacks on the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) in northern Gaza. In the latest escalation, a commander from the IDF’s Nachshon Battalion (90) of the Kfir Brigade, Lt. Col. Yoel Glickman, was hit during a battle in Jabalia. The IDF confirmed that Lt. Col. Glickman is in serious condition after being struck in the exchange of fire with Hamas gunmen. Additionally, a soldier from the same battalion, Sgt. First Class (Res.) Roi Sasson, was killed during the incident. Both the officer and the soldier were hit while engaging in combat with Hamas forces.
