Houthi Rebels Say ‘FORCED’ Israeli Retreat During Air Assault On Yemeni Cities

Tensions flared as Yemen’s Houthi group claimed to have repelled Israeli airstrikes, forcing IDF jets to leave Yemeni airspace before they could drop bombs. Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree said Yemen’s air defences confronted Israeli warplanes, while reports suggested the Houthis fired 11 missiles and drones at Israel in retaliation. Meanwhile, Israel confirmed strikes on Houthi positions in Hodeidah, Ras Isa, Salif, and a key power station, following a suspected Houthi attack on a ship in the Red Sea.
