Ryan Reynolds has previously expressed his liking for Ranveer on multiple occasions! Last year, during promotional events of his latest ‘Deadpool’ movie, a video of the actor was shared on the online social media handle and various other channels of Marvel India. In the video, Ryan can be seen sitting for an interview with co-star Hugh ‘Wolverine’ Jackman.During the video, the host of the show asked Reynolds who he would like to collaborate with in the industry. The ‘Deadpool’ actor was quick to respond, saying that he would love to work alongside Ranveer Singh. The actor delved into how Singh became the voice for the ‘Deadpool’ Hindi dub, and shared how he finds the actor “very funny”.He shared while pointing at Jackman, saying “You think you’re in shape? This guy makes you look like a crypt keeper. He is amazing”.
Not the first time Reynolds has mentioned Singh
This is also not the first time that the actor has mentioned Ranveer! In an interview with India Today in 2022, when asked whose DMs he would “slip into”, the actor was quick to answer. The ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ actor promptly replied by saying, “Ranveer Singh for me! Pretty sure everyone in India wants to do it too”.Ever since Ranveer lent his voice to Deadpool’s character for the film’s Hindi dub, the two actors have constantly been in touch. In an old interview with the Indian Express, Ranveer Singh also expressed how he chose to work on ‘Deadpool 2’ as a voiceover artist. He shared that he loved the film, the characters, as well as the actors in it, which made him come to this decision.Ranveer Singh is all set and ready for his next big project ‘Dharundhar’, which is still in production. Singh will be starring alongside the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and more. The film is based on an Indian spy who enters enemy lines as an undercover officer.
