Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has warned to exclude the EU and the UK from any further negotiations on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program. This after EU’s foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas suggested that Iran should not suspend cooperation with the IAEA. “EU High Representative disregards the provisions of the NPT, which explicitly affirm the right of all signatories to develop, research, and use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. The participation and role of the European Union and its member states, plus UK, in any future negotiation would be irrelevant and therefore meaningless,” Araghchi tweeted. Watch.
